Today is a Brand New Day

Morning, all of you amazingly wonderful people!

I just wanted to share before I get ready to leave for the day... I got a job at a place in my hometown, which is exciting and nerve-wrecking. I haven't have to start in a normal job position in a while so it is strange. I have no one to worry about when it comes to the professional side of things except me and the clients. I clock in and clock out... no emergency calls to worry about, no crisis I have to solve.... just go in and do my thing and then leave. It is wonderfully scary and a blessing in disguise. I have worried about so much for so long that I can breathe and just take in the day. I'll have an office which I am ready to decorate and I just created an amazing template for my groups.

I did a lot on my time off and I actually did reflect. I know I did not handle being off of work because I felt like I had just plummetted into an abyss that could effect my family in a negative way if I did not find a job. I prayed and waited as patiently as I could and honestly, God will let me know if this isn't where I need to be. My faith leads me.

I just wanted to send this quick update since I haven't blogged or posted in a few weeks. I know I was going through so many emotions and I was trying to keep healthy when it came to my actions and reactions. So for this weeks blog, I challenge all of you to be ready for new changes and ask yourself what would you do to keep your mental health positive if you went through an unexpected and drastic change?

Side note: I very much have Billy Madison's first day of school song in my head. I did not pack my lunch, but I did pick out my first day of work outfit, drank some coffee, showered and brushed my teeth (because hygiene is important), and packed some snacky snacks, so I don't get hangry.

-- I am also still available if anyone needs specialized workbooks for growth in different areas as well as consults.

And just rememeber, I care and you are loved. - T. A. Taylor
